Your guide will show you the secrets of this town and amazing heritage buildings. He/she will make you understand why Spaniards settle on this valley and the troubles they encountered. The area of Antigua is famous for growing one of the best coffees in Central America. Visit a real coffee hacienda to get up close and personal with the whole coffee making process, experiencing the smells, the sights and the flavor of one of Guatemala’s most famous exports.

Next, travel through the highlands to see one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. With three volcanoes rising out of the surface and the sun setting between them. Embark on a boat to visit two indigenous villages.

Visit Chichicastenango, for sure one of the most colorful native market in the Americas. Experience the color, dialects, costumes, smoke and the mix of the Maya with the catholic religion.

Climb the main pyramid to see the sunset overlooking the lagoons of Yaxha and Sacnab.  And Tikal, an important ceremonial center with the construction of major pyramid and temples Tikal National Park contains some of the most fascinating archaeological remains of the ancient Maya Civilization. Excavated by Pennsylvania University, is the largest excavated site in the American continent.
