North Island

Found in the ‘inner’ islands of the Seychelles, which are known as the most beautiful on Earth, North Island is a place of exclusive luxury within an exquisite wilderness sanctuary. With just 11 villas on this property, your footprints will be the only evidence on the Island’s vast, untouched beaches. For those seeking a private and unspoilt, tropical retreat, the powder-white sands and turquoise waters of North Island are the perfect choice.

North Island epitomises the freedom that complete privacy allows, extraordinary experiences, perfectly personalized to your preferences, and service that is generously big-hearted. The Island’s abundance naturally extends to the luxury of choice that a peerless all-inclusive offering provides. Experience a true barefoot-luxury escape on North Island.

Just 11 individually-handcrafted guest villas on the entire island lie directly on the eastern beach. The Presidential Villas (villas 1 to 10) have a study or second bedroom for children; Villa North Island (Villa 11) is a secluded space for a couple. The scenically-located health spa and gym and rim-flow pool are built into a granitic outcrop, while a sunset bar and restaurant are tucked away on the western beach.

Presidential Villas
The 10 Presidential Villas are nestled discreetly in the lush tree-line along East Beach, each measure 450 square metres, giving guests enough room to spread out and enjoy a unique, private, island-style experience to the full. Each Villa has two en-suite bedrooms, a main bedroom and a second bedroom/lounge and study that can be converted into a private cinema. The fully retracting glass doors allow for uninterrupted views onto the sandy beach and turquoise sea in front of each Villa. The kitchenette and personalised private pantry leads off the lounge and dining area and a private plunge pool and outdoor sala are the finishing touches to this private sanctuary.

Villa North Island
Perched on a granite rock on a secluded stretch of powder-white beach on the northern side of Anse d’Est, Villa North Island spreads out across multiple tiered levels, measuring 750 square metres in total. With a private beach entry to the ocean and unobstructed ocean views, the Villa features several outdoor areas where guests can relax, including an outdoor ‘reverie’ lounge and a sunken sala with a stone fire-pit for spectacular sunset enjoyment. The main area includes a cinema lounge and study, while the bathroom features a 1.2 x 2 metre bath and outdoor shower, all with panoramic views. Villa North Island is the quintessence of luxury, romance and privacy.

Scuba Diving
Seychelles forms part of the planet's longest coral reef system and has some of the world's best scuba diving sites. North Island offers a "guided" scuba experience where our divemasters are not only experts in scuba but also in the marine ecosphere.

Each villa comes equipped with bikes suitable for exploring the Island. Whilst providing the enjoyment of entertainment and exercise, the bikes have minimal impact on the environment and allow you to slow down and take in the fabulous fauna and flora all around you.

Island Buggies
Each Villa has its own dedicated Island Buggy. These specially-adapted electric carts give you the freedom to move around the Island with ease.

A walk along West Beach as the sun sets is an experience not to be missed – especially as the Sunset Bar lies at the end of the walk. This simple, rustic bar is located just above the high-water mark on the northern end of Grande Anse.

We provide fishing rods, tackle and flies should you wish to try your hand at fishing. However, it is recommended that serious fly-fishermen bring their own rods and tackle.
