Malawi

Apart from Malawi’s extraordinarily friendly people, this country is all about geographical diversity. In a vast chasm created by the Great Rift Valley is Lake Malawi, a shimmering mass of clear water, swarming with colorful fish. Whether for diving, snorkeling, kayaking or chilling out on beaches and desert islands, a visit to the lake is a must do. Suspended in the clouds in Malawi’s deep south are the dramatic peaks of Mt Mulanje and the mystical Zomba Plateau, both a hiker's dream, with mist-covered forests and exotic wildlife. The lion-reintroduction program at Majete Wildlife Reserve, makes this park a worthwhile wildlife-watching destination.
