Day 1: Liberia Airport – Welcome to Playa Hermosa
Arrive by air into Liberia International airport. A representative will meet you outside customs and welcome you to Costa Rica. Private ground transport from the airport to your beach resort – Bosque del Mar for your 4 nights stay. (You may also opt to rent a vehicle and drive yourself). Bosque Del Mar Beach Front Hotel is a 32-room small all suite boutique hotel occupying unique beach front property in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste. This rustic, charming “Hemingway Type” hotel offers: bar – restaurant, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, lush tropical gardens.

Day 2: Dive or Snorkel 
For divers, after breakfast. Enjoy a 2-tank local dive this morning. There are so many fantastic local dive sites to choose from in the gulf. Sites are multi-level starting at 30ft going to 80ft, with an average depth of 30-50ft, making the diving perfect for beginners and experienced divers at the same time. You will typically see white-tip reef sharks, many varieties of schooling fish, octopus, five species of moray eels, loads of puffer fish, southern sting rays plus several other types of rays including the pacific manta rays, seahorses, frog fish, nudibranches and harlequin clown shrimp. The dives are generally 35-45 minutes long, with a one hour surface interval between the dives. Non-divers can go snorkeling, surfing or other water sport!

Day 3: Wet n' Wild Adventure                  
After breakfast, enjoy 2 more local dives or you may opt to upgrade to other sites include The Bats and The Cats!

Afternoon Tempisque River Boat Tour, includes transportation, park fees and boat tour. Palo Verde National Park is an aquatic wonderland! There are some 280 species of migratory and resident birds in the park, giving Palo Verde the largest concentration of aquatic birds in Central America. Many endangered and threatened species can be seen including the Jabiru stork, the continent’s tallest water bird as well as the pheasant-like Great Curassow, manakins, falcons, ducks and herons.

The park is also home to deer, peccaries, ocelots, coyotes, pumas, tayras, agoutis, pacas, monkeys, boa constrictors, rattlesnakes, coral snakes, crocodiles and huge populations of toads and frogs, including several species of tree frogs.

Day 4: More dives!                  
After breakfast, head out for 2 more morning dives on local sites.

Day 5: Arenal
After breakfast. You will be transferred to Arenal (approximately 3 hours). Overnight for 3 nights at Arenal Kioro.  Arenal Kioro is a peaceful place with a wonderful natural viewpoint of the Arenal Volcano. The hotel has 27 acres of undulating land, surrounded by two streams, La Palma and Kioro, with crystalline waters that to flow in the Arenal Volcano National Park. The hotel has 53 suites some with a king size bed and a daybed and others with two queen size beds and a daybed. You’ll have the best panoramic volcano and mountain views from your balcony.

Day 6: Zip Lining                  
After breakfast at hotel, get your thrills at Sky Trek, a super fun zip line circuit that’s located in La Fortuna. Your tour will start riding an open-air gondola from the ground to the heights where you’ll be dropped off at an observation area for fantastic views. From this area, you will start riding down on a zip line track stretching across canyons and in between treetops, the exhilarating adventure of zip lining down the mountainside begins; ultimately returning you to the starting point at the main building. This is the most thrilling zip line in the country. Return to the resort to relax!

Day 7: Fun Day                  
After breakfast at the hotel, choose from an array of amazing optional adventure activities in Arenal. Arenal is a place that begs to be explored; rivers wind through bountiful rainforests, waterfalls crash amid inspiring canyons and hot springs gurgle up beneath the base of an impressive volcano. Nature lovers will enjoy hikes and horseback rides, walks along hanging bridges and underground cave excursions. Adventurous types can sign up for canopy tours or waterfall rappelling, mountain bike rides or rafting trips. And pretty much everyone will agree that a soak in one of the area’s geothermal hot springs is a near perfect ending to any day.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Liberia or San Jose Airport for departure. (or self drive).
