The Trip:

Once on board, the boat sets out to the crystal clear blue waters of the Red Sea. The first stop will be at Sanganeb, an internationally recognized marine park and isolated coral reef structure just 25km off the  shoreline. The diving and snorkeling is fabulous and a visit up the lighthouse is amazing. Head south and here you will be among hammerhead sharks, swim with dolphin, watch sea turtles and if you are lucky snorkel with manta rays. The sea is like an aquarium with not only the most beautiful coral reef fish, but schools of barracuda, tuna, trevally and much more.

During the week, some of the best known spots to explore include Jumna (known for its vertical walls, caves, and a shy school of hammerhead sharks). Sha’ab Ambar (a beautiful lagoon surrounded by large reefs and an excellent anchorage spot). Turtle Island (the fantasy island with beautiful white coral sand surrounded by a turquoise sea where turtles nest). Pinnacles (rising from 65-70 m, cone shaped known for the big stuff).

There’s also Logan and Kerry reefs, smaller in size but good for hammerhead sharks. Sandcay Reef known for its unusual encounters with oceanic  fish and protector with its special shape - a huge plateau of 100m x 60m known for its large schools of barracudas, jackfish, surgeons, fusiliers and lovely place to swim with sea turtles, manta and eagle rays.

These safaris can also be tailored to families and independent divers, and highly qualified marine guides will lead you every step of the way along safe, secure and comfortable trips, wherever you chose to venture.

Children are welcome, and they can learn to dive in the atolls, snorkel over some of the best coral reefs in the world, jump off the boat into the clear waters and play angler where very few people normally fish. They will be exposed to great ocean legends, world-renowned research and exotic ancient history, including a visit to Swakin, an antique city and port built out of coral, 80km south of Port Sudan.

On the boat, everything is catered for you with delicious Italian inspired menus, dive and fishing gears and soft drinks. You sleep in the cabins and enjoy the deck with its spectacular views between the daily activities. The star-studded evenings will be filled with the chatter about the day and brief presentation including Jacques Cousteau research about the role of hammerhead sharks.
