Borneo Rainforest Lodge
Borneo Rainforest Lodge is perched on Danum Valley Conservation Area - Sabah’s largest Lowland Rainforest, surrounded with primary rainforests giving a relaxing vibe.
This pristine rainforest is also home to more than 320 species of Birds, 124 species of Mammals, 72 species of Reptiles, 56 species of Amphibians and a staggering 200 species of plants per hectare. Besides, it has recently sanctioned by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia as an Important Bird Area. This lovely eco lodge has well-appointed rooms, serves excellent food and has highly knowledgeable naturalist guides. The service is of 5-star quality while still maintaining sustainable and environmentally sensitive practices.
Borneo Rainforest Lodge has 30 individual chalets with ensuite bathroom where we can accommodate and serve up to 60 guests on a full board basis.
Premium Villa Chalet
The new Premium Villas offers a higher level of comfort. These single-storey and double-story chalets combine minimalist design and cooling passive architectural structure to enhance your stay experience. Each chalet has its own outdoor tub attached to spacious viewing deck for a panoramic view of the river and serene forest landscape.
Premium Deluxe Chalets
The latest edition to the lodge is our ten new Premium Deluxe rooms that was completed in the second quarter of 2018. The new rooms have more glass windows and bigger balcony for a better view and feel of the river bank and jungle surroundings. These spacious air-conditioned twin-bedded rooms are suitable for family of up to 4 persons.
Deluxe Chalets
Spectacularly set amidst the rainforest, this River View chalet features a magnificent view of the nature's abundance. This chalet features an outdoor tub right at your own private balcony where you can have a relaxing soak after a day of trekking.
River View Jungle Chalets
Enjoy the comfort relaxing and rejuvenating stay in our Jungle Chalets. These cozy rooms hidden by the dense jungle foliage has a private balcony where you may enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the tropical rainforest.
3 Days / 2 Nights - ADVENTURE
Day 1: Arrival
Pick up will be at Lahad Datu Airport with a 2 hours 30 minutes drive overland into the Danum Valley Conservation Area. Enjoy the myriad landscapes of this million years old virgin rainforests along the way and have a chance to cross path with some wild encounters.
Check-in to Borneo Rainforest Lodge and prepare yourself for an introduction to our nature activity for the day.
Nature activities introduction includes guided nature trails & Canopy Walkway and Safari Night Drive after dinner.
Day 2: Borneo
Wake up to the calls of the Bornean Gibbons and start your day with guided trekking to the "View Point" and "Coffin Cliff" (a Kadazan Dusun burial site).
Take a short break by the Natural Jacuzzi pool for a refreshing dip before lunch at the Lodge.
Afternoon optional activities: A Guided Jungle Trekking or if weather permits, Water Tubing session down the Danum River for an hour or at guest’s own leisure time.
Guided Night Walk on the Nature Trail after dinner.
Day 3: Onwards
Optional activity: An early morning walk and return to the Lodge for lunch before checking-out and transfer arrangement to Lahad Datu Airport for your onward flights.
4 Days / 3 Nights - ADVENTURE
Day 1: Arrival
Pick up will be at Lahad Datu Airport with a 2 hours 30 mins drive journey into the Danum Valley Conservation Area. Enjoy the myriad landscapes of this million years old virgin rainforests along the way and have a chance to cross path with some wild encounters.

Day 2: Jungle Fun
Wake up to the calls of the Bornean Gibbons and start your day with a guided trekking to the "View Point" and "Coffin Cliff (a Kadazandusun burial site).

Day 3: More Jungle Fun
Trek up to "Fairy Falls" & "Serpent Falls" for a scenic view.
Return to the Lodge for lunch. Afternoon optional activities: Guided Trekking along Segama River or at guest’s own leisure time.
Day 4: Onwards
Optional activity: An early morning walk and return to the Lodge for lunch before checking-out and transfer arrangement to Lahad Datu Airport for onward flights.
