Diving & Snorkeling!
Boutique Beach is located on the beautiful Maldivian island of Dhigurah which is in the famous whale shark area in South Ari Atoll. The diving is unique in the Maldives as this area is the only place with year round whale shark sightings. There are 15 deep reefs or thilas or pinnacles in between Dhigurah and the next island...the famous Kudarah thila is just 15 minutes away. The PADI trained instructors at our dive base BB DIVE, will be happy to show you the best diving in the Maldives! Whether safari days looking for whale sharks, dolphins and mantas or exciting pinnacle dives with fantastic marine life and soft coral in amazing colors…

BB DIVE has it all!!!
The British Whale Shark conservation group, who are also based on Dhigurah, have recorded 301 whale sharks in our area, of which only 8 are female. Average length is 5.92m, which makes them 'teenagers'. The whale sharks are there all year round, but some weather conditions make them harder to spot. Mantas regularly feed in our lagoon as well as at the cleaning station at Rangali, which is within easy reach.

Flights from Male take 20 minutes; the speedboat option takes 1.5 hours and the ferry from Male takes 6 hours. We are happy to recommend and book the best option for your international flight times.
