Chitabe Lediba

Chitabe Lediba, in the Chitabe Concession, neighbours the Moremi Game Reserve in the south-eastern part of the Okavango Delta. Its wide range of habitats makes for an equal diversity of wildlife sightings.

Chitabe Lediba is smaller than its sister camp, Chitabe, and is ideal for small groups or families. Views over the waterhole give ample opportunities to watch the daily animal traffic. Beyond the camp, Okavango and Kalahari landscapes meet to form rich habitats.

The camp has five spacious Meru-style tents, including 2 family tents, and offer panoramic views of the Delta. The dining area, lounge and pool have a glorious vantage over the small lediba (a remnant lagoon that has become a waterhole) after which the camp is named and where wild animals and birds frequently come to drink.

The Chitabe Concession, covers 22 000 hectares of pristine Okavango Delta wilderness. This unique area harbours a massive variety of habitats within close proximity giving rise to a surprising diversity of species. The mix of Okavango and Kalahari makes for an excellent home to an abundant array of herbivores: giraffe, buffalo, red lechwe, tsessebe, impala and elephant, which in turn support the larger predators: lion, leopard, spotted hyaena, cheetah and wild dog.

Standard Tents
3 canvas tented-style rooms are built on raised decks with luxurious and tasteful interiors. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanity basins and indoor and outdoor showers offering spectacular views.
