Standard Rooms

Each Standard Room comes with a spacious private balcony with seating for two. Traditional wooden furnishings and timber floors create a warm, welcoming ambiance, while wide sliding glass doors allow in plenty of natural light. Each room offers twin or king bedding, with a maximum occupancy of two adults and one child (for children under 15 years old, rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request).

Standard Rooms come in three different categories: Standard Rooms, Standard Garden View Rooms with views of our colorful tropical gardens, and Standard Ocean View Rooms with views of the lagoon and Tahiti's sister island, Moorea. 

Superior Rooms

Newly renovated in a fresh Polynesian style, each Superior Room, and comes with a private balcony with seating for two. Renovated and refurbished in 2015, they feature wide sliding glass doors which allow in plenty of natural light. Each room offers twin or king bedding, with a maximum occupancy of two adults and one child (for children under 15 years old, rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request). Superior rooms come in two categories: Superior Garden View Rooms and Superior Ocean View Rooms, including two wheelchair-accessible units.

Panoramic Rooms

Enjoy spectacular views from your own private balcony. The 60 Panoramic Rooms with Garden or Ocean View are the most spacious of the room categories, Offering either one king-size or two queen-size beds, they showcase a wide view of our beautiful garden at the ground level and great views of our stunning Lotus infinity pool, with vistas reaching out beyond the lagoon to Moorea Island in the distance. Panoramic Rooms can host up to three adults, or two adults and two children. They’re among the top choices of accommodation for honeymooners. Panoramic rooms come in two different categories: Panoramic Garden View Rooms (on the ground floor) and Panoramic Ocean View Rooms.

Junior Suite Overwater Bungalows

The newly renovated 13 Junior Suite Overwater Lagoon Bungalows come with a large private deck, located near our Lotus infinity pool. These feature a separate lounge and bedroom and can accommodate up to two adults and two children using existing bedding and sofa. There are also Superior and Motu Overwater Suites available with different vantage points.

Antarès Suite

The most spacious suite, the Antarès Suite delivers pure tropical luxury. Decorated in an elegant style, and providing 115 square metres of space, the Antarès Suite includes a bedroom, bathroom, and a separate lounge and private bar furnished to the highest levels of luxury and modernity. The suite offers a stunning view of the hotel grounds, the lagoon and Tahiti's sister island Moorea. This suite is designed for two people, but can host an additional child under 15 years old, using extra bedding.

Overwater Motu Villa Suite

For the ultimate in luxury and tropical pampering, we offer one extra large overwater villa (big deck). With thatched walls, white linens and wide floor-to-ceiling windows, its charming tropical décor creates a cosy, intimate ambiance, enhanced by its secluded position directly over the lagoon. This bungalow can host up to four adults, or two adults and two children, using the sofa bed and existing bedding.

WATER SPORTS

Surrounded by the crystal-clear seas of the South Pacific, the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa offers all manner of water sports. Our dedicated team can lead snorkeling or sailing trips, or you can take to the water by kayak or jet ski. We also have a PADI 5-star scuba diving centre, TOPDIVE, in the centre of the resort so you can explore the various reefs and dive spots surrounding the island.

Tahiti is a wonderful island, with hidden treasures in its lush valleys and brilliant lagoons. To get to know the island’s many attractions, we offer several excursions that cover various types of terrain and cater to different fitness levels. You can go on a Circle Island Tour, explore the island by 4x4, opt for an exciting off-road tour or go hiking along one of many beautiful jungle trails. You can also view the island from the air via helicopter tour. In addition, there are jet ski tours, dolphin cruises, whale watching expeditions and deep sea fishing.
