The stylish Star Bed sleep-out (weather permitting) is an unforgettable way to experience the nearby Zibadianja Lagoon. With easy access to the Linyanti Concession’s extraordinary range of habitats, prolific plains game and attendant predators are a certainty all year round

The main dining and lounge area boasts its own wide-angle vistas, while a new wellness centre and gym – shared with DumaTau – includes an inviting shaded deck, a lap pool, spa, snack deli and Safari Boutique.

With incredible habitat diversity, Linyanti is a haven for wildlife, on land and water. Game viewing and river excursions top the agenda here.

Game Drives

Morning and afternoon game drives reveal the rich wildlife of the area where predators and elephant are often the highlight. Plains game and diverse birdlife also offer fantastic sightings. The open 4x4 Land Rovers each accommodate a maximum of seven people, allowing each guest a ‘window’ seat.

Night Drives

Night drives with spotlights allow you to find those nocturnal animals you wouldn’t see during the day. These often include lesser bushbaby, spring hare, aardwolf, serval, large spotted genet and, if you are extremely lucky, the elusive pangolin!

Nature Walks

Depending on qualified guide availability, nature walks with skilled, armed guides are wonderful ways of getting close to nature and observing the smaller things you miss when travelling by vehicle.

Hides and Star Bed

There is a hide at camp for those wishing to while away their siesta hour watching the active birdlife of the area, while a raised platform at the Zibalianja Lagoon is the perfect place from which to view and photograph animals and birds. This platform can also be used for an authentic and unique way to sleep out under the crystal clear African skies surrounded by nature.

Motorboat and River Barge*

Explore the Linyanti River by boat or barge, the latter perfect for picnics or sundowners or searching out those elusive birds so prevalent in the channels.
*This activity is water-level dependent.

Fishing*

Fishing is permitted on a catch-and-release basis. The camp has a small stock of basic rods and reels. *Seasonal.

Birding

Birding is outstanding here, from Okavango specials to mopane woodland species. The Savute Channel is famous for its high concentration of eagles and raptors; this area is internationally recognised as an IBA (Important Bird Area).
