Your very own boatman is on hand to transfer you to and from the main resort facilities when you choose (between 7am and 11pm).
Here in Paradise, you can choose to laze away the day on a sun lounger by the resort pool, snooze in a hammock or float in the calm seas. When you decide it's time for some adventure, we’ve got you covered.
DIVING & SNORKELING
With 35 different dive sites in the area from reefs, drop-offs, pinnacles, swim through and two amazing wreck dives. Our sites are from 2 minutes to 25 minutes away, and our dives are all guided and from a boat. We dive three times a day every day, we dive at 9 am, 11 am, and 2 pm, equipment, and dive guide are supplied.These beautiful sites consist of walls, reefs, pinnacles drop-offs and two wreck sites, with a good selection for both experienced and beginner divers we will find something to suit you.
With reef sharks and turtles seen on most of our dives, we also have an abundance of corals both soft and hard and everything else you would expect to see on a tropical reef, highlights are eagle ray and bump head parrot fish, with plenty of macro life to be found too.
The resort offers all the PADI courses whether it's your very first try or higher qualifications such as Advanced, Rescue or Dive Master, we also have a large selection of specialty dives including Night, Wreck, Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Photography, Drift and more.
SWIM WITH GIANT MANTA RAYS
The giant Manta ray season typically begins every year in May and continues right through to October. Manta rays are fascinating and captivating creatures. Giants of their kind, they range throughout the tropical and sub-tropical oceans of the world. Born into a life of perpetual motion, they must keep swimming to survive. Mantas are known to make seasonal migrations to take advantage of particularly abundant areas of food. Hence the channel just 10 minutes away from Paradise by boat is the perfect feeding ground.
CULTURAL CONNECTION
Staff Meke (performance) - Island hopping adventures Local Rugby games - Craft demonstrations Fijian cooking lessons - Kava ceremony Friday nights are often a favourite for our guests. Our staffs’ way of thanking us for the help we provide, and the humanitarian projects for the village, is to hold a traditional Fijian Meke (cultural show) for our guests. The meke is a fun-filled 30 minutes of song, dance and celebration wrapped up in the authentic flavors of Fiji and the Pacific.
We run several different tours during the week that have you visiting nearby islands. Guests board our island based boat, and depart for a day exploring the villages on Waya Island, or Naviti Island and swim with the Manta Ray’s when in season. All the trips offer an excellent chance to view island life through the resident's eyes and create opportunities for guests to mix with the locals and experience genuine Fijian hospitality.
FUN ACTIVITIES
A few times a week the energetic among us head away on guided hikes. We have several hikes to choose from, one of the most adventurous is a hike to the top of one of Waya islands highest peaks. All walks have new and varied terrain with plenty of camera opportunities along the way. Once a week we have our world-famous Crab racing, so grab a torch and bucket and follow one of our staff members onto the beach to select your very own well-honed Olympic trained crab. There’s a generous bar tab for the winning crab owner, and all money raised is donated to the village children’s education fund.
HEALTH AT PARADISE COVE
Try our refreshing and rejuvenating yoga areas on our pool deck facing the ocean or somewhere a little more private at the Gym centre where a purpose-built Yoga deck, enjoy the sea breezes and uninterrupted views of the ocean, you'll be amazed at how energized and wonderful you will feel.
