Pension Bounty

The family-run Pension Bounty is located on the atoll of Rangiroa, Tuamotu Archipelago in the northeast of Tahiti. In the heart of a tropical garden, the guest house, Pension Bounty, is newly constructed of local Kohu wood and red cedar and just a few meters from the beach of the magnificent Ohotu bay, one of the most beautiful spots in Rangiroa. You will be welcomed by your hosts, Muriel and Alain, a level 3 diver, to this tranquil and charming guesthouse. Divided into four comfortable studio apartments with all modern conveniences and complying with European standards, this basic tropical lodge is all about independence. Every studio apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom with hot water, a safe, a fan, a large deck, an extra bed (if requested) a free Wi-Fi connection and -very important in this tropical area- mosquito nets in doors and windows.

Breakfast at Pension Bounty is truly bountiful and full of choices. It consists of bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk, cereal, fruit juice, honey, Swiss cheese, fruits or just about whatever Alain and Muriel has in the kitchen they will put it on the table for you. Lunch and dinner are also available at the lodge.

Each of the 4 double studios includes:

Equipped kitchenette

Bathroom with hot water

Mosquito screen door and window

Safe

Ceiling fan

Large deck

Extra bed available

internet wifi free

The lodge also offers you the possibility to borrow a bike, which will allow you to go easily to the village of Avartoru, where there’s a small market and restaurants, or to explore other sites. The beach is a short walk away and offers fantastic snorkeling opportunities. If you are beginner or an experienced diver, everyone has a site to explore. Most of these sites are located on the Iles Sous Le Vent and Tuamotu islands which will take your breath away. The marine channel of Rangiroa, Mahili and Tileau offer the most incredible excursions. For the adventurers, between September and November, the less known Austral Islands offers the possibility to encounter the humpback whales. You will not want to miss the dolphins near the Tiputa channel, only 600 meters away from the lodge. Charming taxi-boats can whisk you away to Tiputa village or one of the other sites of the Atoll. Alain will be happy to help arrange any activities you’d like to do. Without any doubt this family run lodge near Tahiti is the closest thing to paradise.
