Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge
An exceedingly private retreat surrounded by pristine rainforest in the verge of the exotic coasts of Golfo Dulce and Piedras Blancas National Park tropical rainforests. Dramatic views of mountains and the tranquility of a private bay welcome you to the lodge as you approach by boat from Golfito or Puerto Jimenez. The main lodge, private cabins and room module are surrounded by the colors, sounds and aromas of the green lush jungle. Guests can feel free to use the paddle-boards, kayak, snorkeling, fishing gear, Sustainability Tour and the self-guided rainforest trails that the hotel offers complimentary. More adventures are offered in our tours like rainforest hikes, dolphin watching tour, kayak on the Rio Esquinas mangroves, chocolate tour, and much more.
Guests can savor delicious local cuisine at the on-site restaurant. For calm and serenity, yoga classes and massage/wellness treatments are offered. Guests can also enjoy unlimited use of hiking, fishing, snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking equipment.

The Mango Guest House is a 2 story, jungle-chic structure with 4 private rooms. Each room has a private entrance, private bath with open air shower affording jungle views, private terrace, ceiling fans, louvered doors and windows that wrap around the room providing panoramic views. Rooms have queen sized beds or twin beds.

The Cabin Suite is very private and set apart from all the other accommodations. Beautifully designed, our largest cabin has all the features of our private cabins. From San Jose, the best way to get to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge is to fly (45 - 50 minutes) via Sansa Airlines to Golfito or Puerto Jimenez. We will meet you at one of these airports and take you to the Lodge. We are happy to help you with flight and transportation arrangements.
