Sau Bay Fiji Retreat sits on a small private bay off the Island of Taveuni surrounded by 99 acres of tropical rainforest. With only 4 Oceanfront cottages and a romantic African Safari tent, Sau Bay caters to a maximum of 12 lucky guests. Each private cottage overlooks the crystal clear waters of NaSau Bay with its vibrant fringing coral reef just offshore. After morning dives or activities, return to the resort for lunch and afternoon activities or relaxation time. 3 tank dives are also scheduled with a picnic lunch served after the 2nd dive in an idyllic setting. To ensure the best dive experience, dive sites are selected according to daily tidal movements and prevailing weather conditions.
The stunning Raintree Vale resort restaurant with al fresco deck offers a variety of local Fijian and international cuisine. It’s your vacation so have your meals when you want and where you want, the choice is yours. Enjoy locally grown vegetables and fruit from Taveuni or from the resort’s own garden and fish from the local fishermen. The Bar is stocked with local and imported beer and spirits plus a good selection of wines from Australian, New Zealand and Chile. You can also pamper yourself with wonderful massage and other spa treatments. At the end of the day, there’s nothing more pleasant than sipping a tropical cocktail while watching the sun dip over the ocean after a full day of Fijian fun and hospitality.
With accommodation comprising of just 4 ocean front cottages (3 single/1 double) and 1 luxury African tent, there can only be a maximum of 14 guests at the resort. So You can be sure you are staying away from the crowds and getting plenty of personal attention.
There is also a tent like no other - a luxurious African tent for 2 people situated on higher ground, with sea views and surrounded by the rainforest. It features all mod cons and an outdoor shower and private deck.

With the world renowned 'Rainbow Reef' within minutes of the Dive Shop; a high speed dive boat and experienced dive guides will take you to the 'Soft Coral Wonderland of the South Pacific’. Sau Bay Resort is the closest resort to the most incredible dive spots on the Rainbow Reef, known as the "soft coral capital of the world' for its brilliant colors and healthy soft coral formations, including the infamous White Wall. Sau Bay is an excellent place to learn how to dive with personalized service.
