Panoramic Oceanview Rooms
These rooms are located on a small hilltop overlooking the resort with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and the private lagoon. The rooms are set with a 360 view of the surrounding rainforest and offer a fresh breeze mostly coming from the Pacific Ocean. The views are exceptional especially at sunrise and sunset. All rooms offer separate bathrooms, one bedroom – with queen-size double bed or full-size single beds, table and chairs, ceiling fan and a large verandah. Amenities include: air conditioning, mini fridge, tea & coffee facilities and outside terraces with sitting hammock, table and chairs.
Deluxe Oceanfront Bures
These bures are located in an idyllic setting with great views of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by stunning rain forest and gardens, you will be sitting on your own private terrace and enjoying the beautiful views and surroundings. The Bures have a large room which can be arranged in any possible bed configuration offering a variety of choices for either individuals, couples, honeymooners or families, up to a maximum of 4 people. All Bures have ceiling fans, writing table and chairs, separate bathroom facilities, as well as their own terrace with sitting corner and our popular ‘hammock-chairs’. Amenities include: air conditioning, mini fridge, tea & coffee facilities and outside terraces with sitting hammock, table and chair.
Superior Oceanfront Bures
These bures also offer magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean, with their own little gardens, separate bathrooms, a 2 room plus separate bathroom facility – one master lounge room with queen-size and one full-size bed in the second room, a sofa sitting corner with large coffee table, walk in closet, table and chairs, mini-fridge, ceiling fan and large decks. Air-conditioned.
Scuba Diving
Waidroka Bay Resort offers world-class SCUBA DIVING with incredible variety and some of Fiji’s finest soft coral and the great Fiji Shark Dive in the Beqa Lagoon. Fiji has one of the world’s largest coral reefs, over 4000 sq. miles of reef, one of the planets largest variety of marine life and most diverse eco systems with over 1500 different species of fish, plus an incredible variety of coral with over 400 different coral types There’s great year around diving conditions with friendly water temperatures and the visibility which can easily exceed 100 ft. There’s some of the best shark diving in the world with up to 9 species of sharks. Beqa Lagoon is world famous for its soft-coral & marine life, perfectly reflecting the variety & diversity of FIJI’S diving.
Surfing
Surfing Fiji is world class and there is surf year around at Waidroka Bay Resort’s southern coast benefiting from the pacific ocean’s southern swell patterns. The pacific swells break on the various reef passages only 10-15 minutes boat ride from the resort and present a variety of untouched left & right-hand. The surf which is breaking over reef (reef-breaks) can be challenging at about 5 foot plus for more inexperienced surfers, who need to be competent in surfing these types of breaks. With a large selection of rental surf boards, SUP’s, body boards, helmets, rash guards and booties, surfing Fiji at Waidroka is at your fingertips.
