Call of the Wild

Unrivaled for its wildlife, Botswana is home to some of Africa’s most luxurious safari camps. Privacy and wilderness are synonymous here. With a population of roughly 2 million, 40% of its land is dedicated to parks and wildlife. The two largest rivers, the Okavango and the Chobe, attract diverse wildlife all year round.

Days 1-4 Okavango Moremi

Renowned as a predator hotspot, Botswana’s Chitabe is ideally located on private conservation land, bordered on the north by the famed Moremi Game Reserve. Here a mosaic of habitats supports outstanding wildlife numbers and biodiversity, and some of the most thrilling predator-prey sightings on Earth.

The dramatic mix of Kalahari and Okavango habitats, with consistent predator-prey interaction, makes Chitabe in Botswana a wildlife photographer's dream. The highly trained Chitabe guides will help you capture unforgettable wilderness memories on day and night drives, as well as on guided walks. 3 nights at Chitabe or Qorokwe

Days 4-7 The Delta

Vumbura Plains is as lavish and lush as its beautiful surroundings. Dreamy Delta waterways, green island woodlands and golden grasses, teeming with an ongoing wildlife parade - ever-changing with the seasons and always awe-inspiring.  Move seamlessly between land and water experiences, navigating floodplains studded with ilala palms and small islands. Watch lions in pursuit of prey or African wild dogs, or a leopard, on the hunt. Catch glimpses of stately sable or, thrillingly, a shy sitatunga – almost invisible in its aquatic habitat among the papyrus. 3 nights at Vumbura Plains

Days 7-9  Linyanti

Delight in a luxury safari at King’s Pool, in the wild Linyanti Wildlife Reserve in northern Botswana. This is Africa up-close. Come nose-to-trunk with an elephant in the underground hide, so close you could count their toes as they splash in the water. With an abundance of wildlife all around King’s Pool, you can expect the royal treatment, as the wildlife comes to you in this regal safari camp.

In a unique corner of the Linyanti, King’s Pool promises a Botswana safari fit for a king. Expect a serene atmosphere, chic luxury and exceptional warmth from the King’s Pool staff. Not to mention magnificent game-viewing, and up-close encounters with iconic African wildlife in pristine natural habitat. 2 nights at King’s Pool
