Micronesia

Micronesia

A trip to Micronesia can be a trip to many different worlds – each of the main islands have distinctively separate cultures and traditions. Palau’s lovely landscape shelters Micronesia’s richest flora and fauna, including the famous jellyfish lake where you can snorkel (carefully!) among millions of fragile stingless jellyfish. Palau is also the most modern of the islands and known for its friendly locals. Pohnpei is verdant, unspoiled and quiet. Kosrae is strikingly beautiful and unrelentingly easygoing. The colorful and vivacious Chuuk (Truk) is known for its WWII wrecks. Yap is the most traditional of the islands with cultural norms that have disappeared elsewhere. While the islands are all unique, all share the beauty of the location and the exceptional diving.
