9 Hornbills Tented Camp

This high-end luxury safari tented villa is nestled on its own hill site which is named after and home to the resident 9 hornbill birds. The camp is comprised of 10 exclusive tents in lush tropical gardens and a villa attendant station as well as a pop-up bar. Each Tented Villa is set up with luxurious, locally made furniture from sustainable teak forests. The sleeping and bathing areas are fitted with a unique air-conditioner for your extra-large bed, meant to keep you comfortable but not take away your glamping experience, as well as having a separate outdoor shaded lounge area, private swimming pool and a beautifully designed outdoor shower area as well.

Mountain Biking
The resort offer guests free use of mountain bikes to explore this beautiful island. They have various sizes for adults, all well maintained. For less sporty, switch to a scooter. 


Daily yoga classes
Free yoga classes at the beach, but for more enthusiastic, find some of the best yoga lessons at Island Yoga.  Run by 5 professional instructors, each teacher specializes in different types of Yoga and offers visitors a wide variety of courses from daily drop-in classes for beginners and intermediates to expert-level courses. Southern Thai CuisineFamed island local Chef Mina offers cooking classes for a limited number of people, in her own traditional Thai house just outside the market. We can highly recommend her. 

Bird Watching
9 hornbills, as the name says, is a sanctuary for rare hornbills. The population has grown over the years and might see them gliding down to the beach in style. 



Mangrove Walkway
Between the sister resort, Koyao Island Resort and Six Senses Yao Noi, a unique walkway through the mangrove was created to wander through the home of the mudskippers, hermit crabs, and also the giant monitor lizard - a great way to see otherwise hidden animal and plant life so important to this region.

Phang-Nga province encompasses some excellent islands and offers visitors some good diving and snorkeling opportunities. The marine life and reefs in this area are quite impressive and make for a rewarding underwater adventure!
