Amangani Homes

Mountain dwellings in harmony with their natural surroundings, Amangani’s Homes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, have shake roofs that follow the pitch of the hillside slopes on which they rest. Built of wood and stone on solid rock plinths, they offer four to six bedrooms with spacious living areas. Jackson Hole Adventure Experiences

With skiing terrain that is among the best in North America and two premier national parks nearby, Jackson Hole is ideally positioned to take advantage of the region’s outdoor offerings in all four seasons. Alpine and cross-country skiing are joined by nature treks and guided tours, as well as more uncommon options: heli-skiing, dog sledding, white water rafting, fly fishing, photography tours and more.

Nature Tours

Amangani’s in-house naturalists lead private tours of nearby Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Visit beautiful, varied Yellowstone, the world’s first national park, and Grand Teton, where jagged snow-capped peaks tower over pristine wilderness. Amangani is an Authorized Permitte of the National Park Service.

Wildlife Viewing

Year-round wildlife viewing opportunities make for unforgettable experiences, be it with elk, wolves, bears or moose. Spring brings elk and moose calves and bears emerging from hibernation, while the changing foliage of autumn coincides with the breeding season.

Horseback Riding

Just a short walk away, spring creek riding stables offers trail riding through the valley. Dude riding on Western saddles is also available, as well as horse-drawn carriage rides in winter through the adjacent National Elk Refuge state park.

Snow Sports

Carpeted in snow from mid-November until spring, outdoor pursuits include skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, sleigh rides and snowmobiling. With more than 1,000 hectares (2,470 acres) of slopes and more than 10 metres (400 inches) of annual snowfall, winter sports at Jackson Hole offer endless variety.
