The Casa features 4 junior suites, 2 master suites, 1 luxury suite and the Prana Suite, over nine acres of lush gardens with panoramic views of Lake Atitlan, a saltwater swimming pool, yoga and fitness room, a beach volleyball court private kitchen and bar.
Privately located in the Mayan Western highlands on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, the hotel has no vehicle access. Boat transport, helicopter and walking are the only ways to reach to the property. The hotel is located ca. 2.5 hrs from Guatemala City by car or 30 min with helicopter.
Prana Gardens offer 9 acres, including a vegetable and herb garden, hillside path, chickens, statues, and an endless array of flowers, palm trees and a cigar lounge with a hammock and board games. Enjoy spectacular views of the volcanoes with a glass of local rum. After a day of adventures or an exhausting long travel, the massage therapies can restore tired muscles and put the mind at ease. Dining at Casa Prana is a treat. The chef strives to serve only fresh farm to table ingredients and advises guests to make their selection prior to their arrival so they can prepare for wishes.

The individually designed suites have 70 sqm. of total space, featuring a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, living area, wood chimney, terrace/balcony with views of the lake and volcanoes. The Master Suite 1 at the Villa features a king size bed with en-suite bathroom, a terrace and magnificent views of the lake and the volcanoes. Located on the 1st floor. The master suite 2 at the Villa features a king size bed with en-suite bathroom, a cozy balcony and magnificent views of the lake and the volcanoes. Located in the 2nd floor. Hiking volcanoes
Experience a personalized hiking tour at one of the three Lake Atitlan volcanoes or any of the other mountains that surrounds the lake. For hiking the larges volcano San Pedro, daily departure is at 6:30 am from San Pedro La Laguna. Tour time: 4-7 hours.
Private lake tours
Visit and experience the Mayan culture by visiting the villages around the lake. We can arrange a variety of offers we recommend. Start by visiting the art galleries, coffee plantations, natural dyes textiles, and museums. Then visit the Tzutujil culture in Santiago Atitlan by visiting the colonial churches, Maximon and galleries. Stop by San Antonio Palopó and visit the traditional ceramic factories. Tour time: 3-6 hours
Local market tours
Chichicastenango is the biggest local market in Central America and offers a variety of experiences from the local culture. Visit the Mayans cemeteries, Mayan ceremonies, Pascual Abaj, woodwork masks factories and the market itself. Tour time: 5-7 hours
Zip lining
While you walk through the natural trails of The Natural Reserve Atitlan, enjoy the majestic views and wildlife by doing canopy along the tour. You can choose between the short Zip lining tours or go more extreme by doing the longer ones that goes from 90 mts to 860 mts. Tour time: 1-3 hours
Paragliding
Let the adrenaline flow by flying the beautiful skies of Lake Atitlan. It’s an experience you will never forget. Tour time: 2 hours, Flying time: 30 minutes.
Coffee tours
