Spirit of Freedom

Spirit of Freedom provides unsurpassed live-aboard cruising to the remote regions of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea.  The 125-ft vessel is equipped with all the modern comforts, and provides 3 decks of living space, spacious cabins, professional dive service and Australian style gourmet meals.

Divers have a choice of 3, 4, and 7 day tours to world renown diving destinations of the Cod Hole, Ribbon Reefs, and Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea.  These unique ecosystems showcase an amazing diversity from picturesque coral gardens crowned with delicate anemones and colorful reef fish to the 1000 metre walls of the volcanic atolls of the Coral Sea, home territory for reef sharks, mantas, schools of pelagic fish, and massive soft corals.  Dwarf Minke Whale encounters are a trip highlight in June/ July each year, and special expeditions to the remote Far Northern Reefs can be enjoyed in October/ November.
