No towering hotels will block your view of the sparkling Caribbean here because the property is beachfront. The PADI Center at Splash Inn will take great care of you whether you are new to diving or a seasoned pro. They offer a variety of dive courses and certifications, as well as shark and night dives. This is the ideal place to get your certification. According to the Roatan Marine Park, there are 40 different dive sites to enjoy scuba diving in Roatan, all reachable within 10 minutes by boat. Roatan diving introduces you to shipwrecks, sponge walls, caves and tunnels, underwater cliffs, canyons, among many other reef formations and a variety of colorful marine life. For a more comprehensive list of Roatan's dive sites, you can view the Roatan Marine Park website. The shop is located in front of the Marine Park, and proudly support their efforts to protect the reef. In addition to the dive sites available in Roatan, many places (including our dive center) offer exciting ways to enjoy Roatan diving. Try a night dive and see bioluminescent creatures sparkling under the stars, or a world famous 'Cara Cara' (face to face) shark dive.

Educatodos is an organization in Honduras dedicated to improving the national education standards through grassroots services. The group provides free and accessible education to people of all ages who may otherwise not have access to it and hopes to improve the community standard by encouraging people in the area to pursue higher levels of education.

The Colonial Stairs
Scott Fried is an international AIDS educator and has spent much time volunteering in Honduras and Roatan. As a side project, he has decided to dedicate time and effort to helping build a set of stairs in the Colonial area of Roatan, stabilizing the ground there and providing safe access to the many families who live at the top of the hill.
